BLK BOX Multi-Grip Bar BARS & PLATES

Designed, manufactured and assembled in Belfast, the BLK BOX Multi-Grip Bar offers a range of tangible benefits allowing all athletes to take their bench press and rowing movements to the next level.

Starting with its cambered shape, this shape separates the bars centre of mass from its centre of rotation, offering increased stability to the user when compared to traditional flat multi-grip bars. In addition, each handle of this bar is also above this centre of mass, again offering increased stability in the bar. In addition, the cambered shape allows for a deeper bench press allowing a greater range of motion.

The BLK BOX Multi-Grip Bar also features 3 pairs of handles of the bar, that each lie at different angles relative to the bar. Traditional multi-grip bars offer a neutral grip throughout, which can work well when using a narrow grip with elbows at the side, is not comfortable at wider grips, and does not offer optimal movement mechanics. The three pairs of handles on this bar sit at an angle of 

10°, 12.5°, and 15° respectively (relative to a neutral grip) allowing increasing bias to the shoulders internal rotation, ensuring better muscle recruitment and a more comfortable bench position at wider grip and an improved stack joint position through the wrists, elbow and shoulder. 

The cambered shape and handle positions are designed to offer athletes increased performance through an increased range of motion, reduce risk of injury in the joints, a range of grip positions and training options.

Manufactured from start to finish in Belfast, the BLK BOX Multi-Grip Bar is made from laser-cut mild steel and finished with textured powdercoat. Each sleeve is zinc-plated to protect from rust and scratching when loading and unloading plates. Each handle is machined using a CNC Lathe and features a 1.2 diamond knurl, offering increased grip during any row or press.

This bar is compatible with all BLK BOX Weight Plates, and each sleeve is capable of holding 100kg per sleeve of BLK BOX Utility Bumpers (200kg total), 60kg of BLK BOX Heavy-Duty Impact Bumpers (120kg total), 165kg of BLK BOX HD or BLK BOX Colour HD Bumpers (350kg Total), or 175kg of BLK BOX Competition Plates (350kg total).

To keep your Bar in pristine condition and free from chalk and dirt, use the 360° Barbell Brush, a must have for any barbell owner, with nylon bristles recommended for this barbell.

PALLET DELIVERY

 

 

All deliveries are kerbside, it will be your responsibility to remove the items from the pallet on arrival and dispose of the pallet. You will receive an email from our Logistics team with a date of delivery. If you require an alternative delivery date or if there are any access restrictions to your property, please let us know within 24 hours before delivery by emailing [email protected]. Please be aware failure to do so may result in additional delivery charges.

Is this bar rackable on a standard rig/rack?

The BLK BOX Multi-Grip Bar is designed to rest on J-Hooks, however it will not fit inside them.
