Does the Timebirds Sonic have sound?

Yes. Timebirds Sonic beeps the final 3 seconds before the time starts, to mark rounds in an EMOM or similar workouts; during the transition from rest to work and work to rest periods in intervals, and at the end of your workout.

I can get timer apps on my phone… why do I need a Timebirds Sonic Timer? 

Phones are highly reflective, they go to sleep and they are expensive if they break. They are not made for the workout environment. All that aside – every athlete we talked to said they found calls and texts distracting – something coaches and PTs stressed, adding that they didn’t like personal notifications popping up in front of their clients. Timebirds® allows you to remain 100% focused on your training. Plus there’s the emotional connection to those LEDs that so many of us love so much! 

Does the Timebirds Sonic Timer require a remote control? 

No, Timebirds® Timers has been designed from the ground up, so when they considered making a remote, athletes quickly rejected the idea. They said it would be two items to pack/lose/break/charge. Instead the remote has been built into the body of the timer because the timer is always within reach. Wall-mounted gym timers on the other hand, they need remotes because they are typically 10ft in the air.

Can you sync multiple units together? 

At this time it is not possible to sync two or more Timebirds Timers together

No, each timer comes included with a silicone case in a colour of your choice:

Are Timebirds magnetic? Will the magnet strength reduce over time? 

Timebirds® Timers contain two Neodymium magnets, sometimes called super magnets, are the most powerful permanent magnets available. They are renowned for a powerful magnetic field, great bonding strength and high coercivity. They will hold their strength for over 100 years.

How long does the battery last?

The Timebirds Sonic Timer is fitted with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which will run up to 14 hours in workout mode or 30 days in idle mode. It is rechargeable via the USB-C connector and will take about 5-6 hours from flat to full charge. We’ve also included a low battery warning signal so you never start a session with the risk of running out of battery mid-workout. As a general rule, the colder it is, the shorter the battery life will be. We recommend to use and store your Timebirds Sonic Timers in temperatures between 10°C and 40°C (50°F to 104°F).

PALLET DELIVERY

All deliveries are kerbside, it will be your responsibility to remove the items from the pallet on arrival and dispose of the pallet. You will receive an email from our Logistics team with a date of delivery.  If you require an alternative delivery date or if there are any access restrictions to your property, please let us know within 24 hours before delivery by emailing [email protected]. Please be aware failure to do so may result in additional delivery charges.

MANUFACTURED ITEMS

Some of our training equipment is manufactured here in our HQ. The lead times on these products range from 10-25 working days and are identified by having the MADE IN BELFAST badge.

RETURNS

We understand at times due to size, colour or type some items might not be the right fit for you. We are happy to accept a returned item within 30 days from the date of you receiving the item for a refund or exchange.
